On a piece of undeveloped property next to Lego City Hospital, LCPF received a complaint from the landlord that a tuk-tuk had parked on the property and that it was selling coffee to citizens. Two standard patrol car's were on route (no flashing lights or siren) to investigate. A bystander then called 999 reporting that the property owner and the tuk-tuk owner were having a fistfight. The nearest unit (a traffic unit on the A1) was called in. It arrived seconds before the other two sent in at the beginning. The officers on-scene then requested armed support as a third person had gotten himself involved and he had armed himself with 2 empty wine bottles. The man smashed one onto the head of the tuk-tuk owner just before being tackled by LCPf officers. Seconds later 2 Armed Response Vehicles arrived. The fight was separated and an ambulance was called. The landlord and the man armed with wine bottles were arrested for physical assault(2) and physical assault with a weapon(1). The tuk-tuk owner was checked out by paramedics then arrested for physical assault.
