Arson Investigation Unit
Dive Rescue Unit
The Dive Rescue Unit is comprised of Multiple highly trained specialists from the LCPF and the LCFB that can deploy on a moments notice to save someone or search for something at the bottom of the river Thames. Their equipment includes a full dive suit and SCBA as well as a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). The RIB is kept at the LCPF Marine Station with a jeep that the LCPF Dive Unit officers use to respond to calls whilst the Dive Suits are kept onboard a front line piece of LCFB apparatus, called Squad 5, which responds out of the very busy Station 5.
Mobile Command Unit
The Mobile Command Unit is one piece of apparatus owned by the LCPF that responds to both Large Fires and Large Police Calls where a mobile command station or mobile office would be useful. It is kept in the LCPF HQ parking lot and can be driven to the scene by either a firefighter, police officer, or any other available emergency personnel. No specialized training is required to join the Mobile Command Unit, all you need is a large vehicle driving license and a minimum of two years of employment at either LCPF or LCFB.
